  What Proof Is there that Jehovah Selected them in 1918?

  the watchtower bases its authority on the claim jehovah made an inspection of christianity around the years 1918/1919 and selected the bible students (now jehovah's witnesses).

  ok....but other than making this claim (over and over and over again!

  ) what proof does the wt present that they were indeed selected?

  norm hovland very kindly gave me a cd with around 50 years watchtowers as a part of it.. cheers, norm!

  i'm having great fun looking up stuff from the 60's and 70's that i recall causing me some astonishment at the time, even though i was still an active dubbie when they were published.

  actually it was more than astonishment.

WT$ 'anachronistic alchemy' quantum quackery' and their 'gospel of gobbledygook' . What about the Watchtower and their medical myths?Such as stomach ulcers being caused by stress .That was the prevailing belief way back when .... Then, scientist found out it was in fact caused by a little bug called H-Pylori . A bacteria, and that STRESS had NOTHING to do with it. Countless times the Watchtower would cite that script in Proverbs, "that stress is rottenness to the marrow" and that it caused stomach ulcers . If they are so divine why wasn't that revealed to them?   i'm getting pretty good at it too.

  i'm on my way home from work when i notice this white van turn in front of me.

"Grand Am scam" a separate special automobile C.O. fund was set up.I can remember for the longest time the preferred purchase was the Pontiac Grand Am.The C.O.'s license tags usually were registered in the state of Ohio( cheap Insurance rating).

  i recieved a 7 page "note" from my brother and his wife pleading with me to come back to jehovah god and his organization.

  he said the devil was after me and my family and that the results will be disastrous unless i come back to "jehovah's protective custody".

  also, it was strongly implied that unless my family went back to meetings and went out in field service, most jws, including family members would not attend my daughter's wedding and reception.my wife, daughter and i have been overtaken by the devil, according to him.

  Regarding;"notes". I sent a "poor mans subpoena" (aka registered letter with return receipt and address requested) To my MIA JW family in Florida.To try to ascertain who is dead/alive.[ going on 15 years now] It came back rejected,crumpled and as a,coups de grâce,their name rubbed out with a felt marker. I was the oldest of the 5 Haszard siblings,made the most money and was the sensible family anchor to our clan. Now,,tell me that the Watchtower DOESN'T break up family's.

  Dedicated to my family members, nieces and nephew Lauren, Ashley and Kevin Haszard that have gone missing in the Jehovah's Witnesses. Danny cares and shares,thinking of you.

  Comparison of Watchtower 'fellowship' with worldly fellowships.The best support i have ever had,was from my fraternal labor union.Carpenter's local # 33 Boston Massachusetts This was the true'band of brothers',the brotherhood that provided for my family.It was also the worldly agency that enabled me to make the big bucks,that I in turn was able to donate to the WT$.
